Positive: The location of the accommdation was good - close to the beach and fairly central to good cafes and restuarnts Negative: Booking confirmation different to what we actually ended up with. No aircon in bedrooms so ended up sleeping in the living room as bedrooms were too uncomfortable to sleep in due to the heat ( ceiling fan only). Internet/ wifi network did not work.

Reasonable price comfy acom close to lots of great restaurants and beach Positive: Proximity to beach, restaurants, e-bikes, walkways. Plenty of lounge space for a family. Comfortable beds , air con and fans . Washing machine great to have Negative: Curtains difficult to open, close . Not great coverage of the windows Not property issue but building works all around can get noisey and annoying.

Very disappointing Positive: Views from all beach front apartments are great Negative: Apartment is in desperate need of renovation. Carpet is old and torn. Curtains are stained and falling off. Wardrobe doors don't open properly. Wardrobes are full of prints and all kinds of stuff so there's very little room to put your things away. The one and only drawer cabinet is broken. Shower tiles are mouldy. Shower pressure in main bathroom is barely a trickle. Kitchen window doesn't open. All windows dirty. Kitchen utensils old and stained. Couches stained. I could go on and on. Never again especially through Intrepid BnB. Endless messages. They charge full payment from outset ie in free cancellation period. Way overpriced for what you get. Just get a 'normal' apartment. Loads available all across GC. You'll get onsight management and up to standard accommodation.

No person available at site, nor contactable by phone. We did not know which appartment we were to occupy. Not being computer skilled, I was unable to contact anyone who could help us. By chance a resident not connected with stayz found us, took pity on us, and after half an hour eventually found how to locate and enter our rental. It was on floor 8 and both lifts failed that night. Again it was with a nother owner that we were able to locate a stairwell to the 8 floor. As 80 year olds, that was a struggle. Lastly the keys were in a locked box in the mailbox. The box was difficult to open, and we were unable on departure to enclose the keys in the box. The appartment itself was fine, but the experience was not.

Perfect Location Positive: Location was fabulous. Close to the beach with magnificent ocean views. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, surf club and mini supermarket.
